Doctorante en littérature comparée à l’Université de Montréal, je propose un accompagnement personnalisé en rédaction française destiné principalement aux étudiants et aux adultes souhaitant améliorer leurs écrits. Les séances peuvent porter sur la structuration d’un texte, la formulation d’une problématique, l’organisation des idées, la clarté de l’argumentation, la syntaxe, le vocabulaire, la reformulation ou encore la correction des erreurs récurrentes. Pour les étudiants en lettres et en sciences humaines, je peux également accompagner le travail méthodologique lié à la dissertation, au commentaire, à l’analyse de texte, à la construction d’une problématique et à l’élaboration d’un plan. Le travail se fait à partir de vos propres textes, de vos difficultés et de vos objectifs. L’idée est de comprendre ce qui peut être amélioré, de développer des méthodes réutilisables et de progresser vers une écriture plus claire, plus précise et plus autonome. Dans la plupart des cas, des progrès significatifs peuvent déjà être observés après deux à trois séances. Cet accompagnement convient aussi aux personnes dont le français n’est pas la langue maternelle et qui souhaitent gagner en aisance dans leurs écrits universitaires ou professionnels.

Hello! I’m a law tutor who specialises in Edexcel International A-Level Law — and my goal is to help you truly understand the subject, not just pass the exam. To do that, I bring more than a textbook: I’m also a practicing lawyer with experience in courts, consulting, and private client work. During my studies, I have also taken part in international law competitions, academic conferences, and published legal articles. I often draw on real cases and examples from my own legal practice, so abstract rules become concrete and memorable. At the same time, I’m completing my law degree at a leading Russian university, which keeps me closely connected to modern academic standards and exam expectations. What I bring to our lessons is the ability to show how legal rules work in real life. I’ve worked in courts and advised businesses, and I use those experiences to make Edexcel topics like negligence, contract formation, or human rights feel tangible rather than abstract. A big advantage of my background is that I’m equally comfortable in both the Romano-Germanic (continental) legal tradition — including its public law and private law dimensions — and the common law system. I know from experience how confusing it can be to switch between these two ways of thinking, and I help students build bridges between them. For Edexcel IAL, which is rooted in English common law but studied by students from all over the world, this dual perspective is incredibly valuable. I can explain not just what the law is, but why it developed that way and how it compares to other legal families. How I Teach My lessons are structured around the Edexcel specification, but I adapt them to each student’s level and goals. We work on: • Solving problem questions using clear legal reasoning (IRAC and beyond); • Writing high-scoring essays that actually answer the question; • Evaluation skills — the difference between a B and an A*; • Exam technique and time management under pressure. I don’t believe in endless memorization. I want you to understand the logic of the law, so you can apply it to any scenario the exam throws at you.

This course provides support with academic writing and presenting. It could take two different formats. Option 1: general guidance in academic writing and presenting. This could be helpful if you have recently entered or are about to enter a higher education degree. In this case, I would provide the material, such as example essays/presentations that we can work with. In addition, I would provide you with resources that would support you throughout your academic journey. Option 2: editorial support for your current academic work. This option could be helpful if you need support with your existing academic work. In this case, you, as a student, would provide the material, such as an in-progress research paper or presentation. In both cases, depending on your needs or interests, the course would focus on covering the key aspects of academic writing and presenting. I consider these aspects to include rhetorical patterns or strategies, syntax, formatting, and style. In this way, my support and advice are limited to effective communication of your work and do not concern its content.
