My educational background: I hold a Masters of Art Therapy from The University of Paris with a major in music therapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Music and Psychology, and a Diploma of Languages with a major in French from The University of Queensland, Australia. As a native English speaker my goal is to instill confidence in my students (of all ages) of their ability to speak, use, and understand English. I use a variety of interactive methods including songs, actions, rhymes, books, and music. I am firm believer in 'trying' and as such I will encourage my students to use their English, regardless of how many faults they may make. It is only from making errors, that we can improve! Additionally, I am happy to work on assignments, test preparation, or any other English homework which may need completing. I can provide homework, or extension tasks as required. My lessons are largely immersion based, and as such I will avoid the use of French, unless an explanation is needed for clarity. I am happy to adapt to the needs of my students. I have been teaching English in France since 2019. Prior to arriving in France, I tutored for over two years in Australia, aiding students from ages 8 to 17 with a variety of subjects including English, maths, science, music, and french. Wow! I have to say I never had a language teacher like this! We spent the first meeting assessing the language level, and I don't mean A2 or B1, he evaluated my capabilities individually. In the evening he sent me countless multimedia sources that I could use to train all facets of the language at my level. He is very invested and expects the same from you, if you want a relaxed language class once a week that keeps you in your comfort zone and at the same level he is not for you. I decided to follow along and do as much as I could. Doing two classes a week I learned more Spanish than I would have ever thought to be possible!!! Furthermore, he takes care of your cultural education, a few weeks in the language journey we had a class at his house where he cooked an amazing dinner and we talked until late in the night. I recommend this amazing teacher 12/10!

We had our very first lesson with Valentin yesterday and I have decided to continue developing my skills in French language together with him due to various reasons... First of all Valentin has all the required communication skills which makes him a desirable teacher together with his kind and friendly approach. Moreover from the very first session he started to build a structure on which we can work on together. He also seems to be a good observer who can detect and correct the mistakes I make as well as providing me the right knowledge in order to improve my French as we proceed together. I would recommend Valentin if you need assistance with learning French at any level.

I have been taking Persian classes with Vahid every week for 7 months now and could not recommend them enough! It's been a very great online learning experience. His classes are very complete, with original teaching material, that allow you to practice reading, writing, speaking and listening with ease. I have taken many language classes in the past, and these were by far some of the best and most efficient I have had :)
