Above all, I appreciate the social bond. Learning and passing on my passion is a pleasure for me.
I was lucky enough to be able to give lessons last year in France, and my working method depends on the expectations of the students and their desires. For the course to be useful, daily personal practice is highly recommended. It can be 5 minutes per day or 2 hours per day. It all depends on the objective to be achieved, the goal is to stay on course and practice regularly.
My course programs can be very structured and framed if an important objective is set, for example entering a conservatory or passing an exam.

I am currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels Bachelor 1 in jazz piano.
I practiced the classical piano for 12 years in France to obtain the Certificate of Musical Studies (CEM) with honors.

I am Thijs (30) an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatory in Ghent. In addition, I have followed masterclasses and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups.

My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole.
