About Me

Indeed, when teaching, one must be a listener/enabler at all times – guiding the student in the right direction as to pronunciation and writing - but also being able to give them the space to practice speaking “freely”, let them appropriate the materials and experiment with them. Teaching must be based on a lot of games, varied (new) activities to get them to move around while constantly learning. Bonjour! Currently a French teacher for adult training (online as well as in a private school), I am also regularly working with children and teens as an English teacher and tutor. My interest in education was sparked early on in my teenage years in Brussels, Belgium, where I took both my CELTA and my BACV courses (Brevet d'Animation de centre de Vacances, the Belgian camp counsellor's certificate).
I obtained my bachelor of English and French Modern Languages and Literature at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), along with a mineure de transition in Information and Communication.
